Andrew, Your blogs are wonderful. They convey such a strong image of Pienza that I feel I know the place well, even though I have never visited -- yet.

I do not know Italian but there seemed to be enough familar words in the posted article for me think I understood it. Out of curiosity, I translated it (using a blog version that I found on the internet) with Google Translate. I was astonished at how polished the translation was -- assuming of course it is technically correct. I had not realized how advanced these on-line translation tools have become.
